Effective July 11th, 2011, HBI will have moved from our previous location on Fisher Road into a new 30,000 sq. ft facility located in Portland Place, just off Blackfoot Trail. Our new address is:

This move consolidates all operations, including our offices, showroom and warehouse, under one roof in a centralized location that is closer to our clients, and allows us to better showcase HBI’s innovative solutions through our products and services.

The space, which spans over two floors, has been designed to attract the Architectural and Design community, not only to showcase innovative product solutions, but to be utilized as a design resource by A&D firms throughout the city.One of the design features of this space will be the new showroom, with 30-foot ceilings and a working library. It will offer the ability for designers to access samples, catalogues, and the Internet through an Interactive Media Technology platform, a touch-screen technology with video and voice conference calling capabilities for easy collaboration on projects.

A raised floor platform has been incorporated to include all mechanical and electrical components required to create this innovative environment. The new showroom’s relaxed atmosphere, with numerous collaborative spaces, an extended fireplace, and a fully accessible cafe will allow both staff and clients to feel as if they are at home.

Meanwhile, the height and dramatic colour schemes integrated within the office space act as a feast for the senses, as the ceiling has been removed from the second level to create volume and openness to the work environment. This openness is also present with the addition of an atrium which overlooks the showroom and front reception area.

With the Grand Opening coming this Fall, the HBI showroom will not only be used by HBI, its clients and the A&D community, but will act as a public forum for organizations looking for a presentation space or a venue to host events.
